How We Started
Child Loss @ Work was created out of personal experience. When a member of our team lost her child at a previous job, she experienced not only the weight of her grief but also the pressure of expectations from her manager to be “over it” faster. This combined with numerous other stories from grieving parents created an opportunity – we knew we could do better and help employees and their managers navigate such a profound loss.

Why Us?
With two decades of experience, we have supported thousands of parents grieving the death of their child through dedicated retreats at Faith’s Lodge. Our deep expertise in child loss allows us to provide compassionate, effective support tailored to the unique needs of grieving parents, including their team at work. We support the workplace in helping employees return to work and their "new normal" at work.

Transition Back to Work
According to the Institute of Medicine, the death of a child is one of the greatest and most enduring stresses a person can ever experience. Investing in Child Loss @ Work demonstrates a company’s commitment to employee well-being, fostering loyalty and retention by supporting grieving parents through one of life’s most devastating losses.
